The sad thing is, some 20 second stop motion animation (video) embedded into a flash (which probably only took a few hours to make) got a higher score than this. Why? Because most of the people who reviewed it have probably never used flash, they think that it took more effort and dedication than a flash that's over a minute long does, and they think that legos are "really cool", so that makes it a good submission. That's kind of fucked! That submission's score continues to rise while this one's continues to drop.

Most of the people who review movies on Newgrounds have never used flash... so they can't compare the effort and "dedication" it probably took to make something like this to the effort and dedication it takes to animate a movie in flash or code a game in flash. This might take some time... but would it take more than a few hours, maybe 5 at most. A flash takes more time and dedication than a stop motion animation does, and this isn't clay... just legos. Some of the flash that gets scores even lower than this take the creator a few days and sometimes a week to make. For those of you who don't use flash, think about this: When making a flash, the creator actually has to DRAW the scenes, characters, and everything else and then animate them. This is just a stop motion animation with legos that could have quickly and easily been done with a digital blue camera and software, some lego software, or even just a camera. I used to do lego animations like this when I was 10 using a camcorder and they were about this quality. So before you all vote 5 on something like this, and give flash submissions that took more effort and dedication to make, take everything into consideration, not just how entertaing the movie was, but think about how it was made.

Stop thinking that this is stolen! The lightsabers are obviously drawn in flash or another program. It's obviously on a real beach. You can tell because there are already footprints all over the sand. And do you really think that those are the actors from Star Wars 3? I highly doubt that.

So you have a whole, very well animated series going (MGR), and you now have a music video which incorporates your series main character.... You might be one of the most likely animators to make it all the way to TV. By the looks of your work, you could probably end up on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, or maybe Comedy Central, but probably not PBS Kids because... yea. (The Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network parts are a compliment not an insult.)
