the reason we are alive

"You are obviously the Newgrounds "messiah"!"

date: May 15, 2006

INGENIOUS!
This was EXACTLY what Newgrounds needed to stir them a little in order to hopefully open their eyes slightly to concepts such as metaphor... and analytical thinking.
And Yes.
The phallis does represent life.
And Yes.
The phallic symbol is the PURPOSE of life.

All of these NG users complaining about it...

WHY BE ASHAMED AND UNCOMFORTABLE AROUND THE CONCEPT OF THE MALE REPRODUCTIVE ORGAN?

"Morals"?

Since when do many of you believe in your family given "religions" anyway?
And even in those religions, the avoidance of the subject was in no way an original belief.

The phallic symbol is REPRESENTATIONAL of a "creator" or "giver of birth" to all.
It is a NATURAL human symbolism.
It is our symbolic "God" from the early days... In which we were still doubtful and more open-minded... and looked only to that around us for answers, though still uncertain answers, to existential questions.

"Does this mean we may worship the penis now, sir?"

YES! You most certainly may.

Others have suddenly lost respect for you due to this, Dan.
I have never respected you anywhere near as much until seeing this.

I'm lost for words...
I never knew how tragic Inglor's life was.
I'm struggling to hold back my tears.

Wow. The best Inglor day flash I've seen so far. I like your style. Good job on the camera movement (scripted camera?) and the camera lines.

Happy Inglor day! =)

"Haha!"

That's great.
One part of me is saying, "You bastard..."
While another part is saying, "Why? Why is he a bastard?"
And another part is saying, "I'm not sure..."
But mostly, I'm just laughing and forgetting just about every other element of the flash.
(Though, right now I'm on about 16 hours of sleep since the start of this week, and have been laughing at just about everything all week.)

Author's Response:

I know that felling, it reminds me of the week that I beat Kingdom Hearts.

Great writing, art, and animation. The writing was the best part, though. It was like watching a short independent film; you made it very detailed, and more realistic than most flash, and obviously realize that the movie's climax shouldn't last for the entire movie.

The ending was great also, but the others are taking the ending too literally... it seemed to me that "Everyone is dead" did not actually mean that all of the people were zombies, but that it was how she felt coming back to her childhood village after being away from it for so many years, and learning about what had become of all of the people she once knew, either what profession they had taken on, how much they had changed, or how they met their deaths. In another way, after not seeing these people for so many years, and coming back to see how much they had changed, the people she once knew as a child were now dead to her. They were now completely different people.

PTFA Guy Short 5

"Very yummy..."

submission: PTFA Guy Short 5
date: July 9, 2005

Very yummy indeed. That was hillarious! I think it's your funniest PTFA Guy Short yet. I'm guessing the girl at the end was Alexis?

Author's Response:

No that wasn't Alexis, that wasn't even a girl who looked like her. I'm glad you liked the flash.

24 Hour Collab

"This turned out well!"

submission: 24 Hour Collab
date: July 5, 2005

We all worked on it, and it turned out really well! But mine got kind of screwed up and glitchy. *Cries, spins around three times, and flies out the window to meet Mr. Owl... out of sadness*

Author's Response:

Sorry about that disaster, man. But if you weren't blabbing about it like this, I bet nobody would notice =\

Thank you very much for your contribution to the collab =D

RaidenX

"Really well made"

submission: RaidenX
date: June 23, 2005

Very detailed, yet very repetitive. I gave it a 10 in sound because you had a surround sound sound effect when the start button was pressed, (it alternated between both speakers) which was pretty cool. And the music at the menu wasnt bad, but the in-game music made me want to kill someone.

Author's Response:

Right, so next time you want to rob a bank, play this game first. ^_^

Btw, another way of saying surround sound effect is 'stereo.'

grand test drive ( demo)

"Not bad"

date: June 23, 2005

That was pretty good. You even coded it so that you could only turn left or right if the up or down arrow keys (forward/backward) were pressed before that, and you got the forward backward keys to cause the car to play a movie clip in which the car gos forward and gradually slows, which makes it more realistic than most other driving games on newgrounds.
